This "diorama" is made with dried moss and tree fungus standing in for grass and leaves.
Real rocks, standing in for bigger rocks and real sticks standing in for tree trunks. The Leos are
all pictures taken over the years and put together as a pack grouping. The background is a picture of the sky
in early September 2008, or possibly 2007.

I made this box for a dear friend's birthday with acorns gathered on our walks in Sherwood Park over ten years ago

This box was inspired by the iron frog on top and the brass legs, it just grew from somewhere.

One day while walking the dogs we looked across the lake to a tiny island and on the island taking the pose of "King of the wild dogs" was a... Pug. It was such a funny yet beautiful sight that it stuck in my memory and when I found a tiny Pug in my box of "stuff" I knew exactly what I was going to do with him. Apologies for the terrible picture. |
