Grace

Grace came to us through a series of lucky circumstances. She was born in Hungary and exported to the United States where she ended up on a farm and had her first litter. Grace was not mistreated there but she was not a member of the family the way our Leos are. Anyway the people who owned her wanted to get out of Leonbergers and we bought her and brought her home.
Grace is a testament to true Leonberger temperament. She came from a barn into a house with a sigh of relief and has an easy outgoing temperament with people and other dogs.

Grace is one of those dogs that does not like cameras so we have to sneak pictures of her. Grace lives at June's place and for one reason or another we have consistently forgotten the camera or the light was bad or she noticed we where taking pictures and did her characteristic "I am just going to quietly leave and lie down, that way the camera can't steal my soul" move and we would have to wait for next time. The planets aligned last week and we finally got some nice pictures of Grace.
