Puppies are all happily in their new homes, Next litter planned for early 2012 Suddenly we have Italian Greyhound pups. My dear friend and respected breeder who let me have Izzy has had a series of health problems and they have suddenly become too much. The good news is that the dog community has rallied to help and he and his dogs are okay. I am doing what I can by raising his last litter for him. Puppies where born June 21, and they are truly the result of 50 years of breeding top dogs. Also available are two six month old females that were kept back for show and breeding but due to the aforementioned issues they are now available. Due to the breeder's failing health these pups did not get out as much as they should but no one would know it by their attitude. Six months old, they got here yesterday and acclimated to three Leonbergers in about five minutes, they love every person they meet and Diamond can jump out of the X-pen and then back in... isn't that special? Baby Blue is smaller but just as spunky and both are very beautiful which I will prove once I can get far enough away from them to get pictures. As for the newest babies and their mother I am speechless. Beauty, who is one, is a super spectacular mom and absolutely gorgeous. She met me one day ago while in labour and let me help her whelp the last two pups in this litter and just so you don't think she is just stupid she is a the only domestic dog I have seen who picks up her pups and puts them where she wants them and even though she is under extreme stress she is totally sweet, friendly and trusting. NEWS FLASH Diamond and Baby Blue figured out the dog door and followed Ruby the Leo in to the house when a storm hit. We were watching TV when a thunderstorm came through and I sat there thinking how natural and spectacular it was and then realized the puppies were outside and they didn't know how to use the dog door... panic run to the door... Ruby is in the X-pen with the pups... which means not only did these pups learn to follow Ruby they learned to do it in about thirty seconds or less... They have turned the warm blanket I gave them into a shelter and are curled up with the toy fox from the backyard. Sooooo cute The latest pictures are here, the jar of mayo is not a product placement it is there so you can see relative size. I do like Hellman's though. Puppies are walking through the food dishes and getting it everywhere some of it even goes in their mouths.
